“My Oreck upright hadn't had a tune up in about 7 years. It was working well but it was hard to push, even through low pile carpeting. I looked on Yelp and saw that Whittier Small Appliance and Vacuum Repair also repairs lamps so I could get two repairs done at the same location. The technician that helped me was very friendly and gave me a quote for the lamp repair and he said that he would call me with a quote for the vacuum tune up after an inspection. I got a call with a very fair price quote for the vacuum a couple of hours later. By the next day both items were done and ready for pick up. The lamp works again and the vacuum glides more easily over carpet. I highly recommend this business for appliance and vacuum repair. Their prices are reasonable and the work is done quickly. Very friendly service.“

“Have only positive things to say about the staff. Super helpful and kind young ladies. I was mailing via FedEx. But had forgotten to complete a fingerprint on some docs. All the places nearby did not have a stamp. I called the Imperial Mail Box--they agreed to help without hesitation. And when I stamped the wrong hand they readily did so again. All of this in addition to letting us borrow their office computer (which they had been using themselves) to reprint the form for said fingerprint. We averted lot of small (but potentially costly) mistakes thanks to their kindness.“

“Whittier Refrigeration was Highly recommended to us on our Whittier/SFS FB group. Our washer stopped working and our warranty expired. I called Joaquin this morning and he had someone out within 2 hours. He found the problem and fixed it right on the spot. I was a little nervous because it is a front loader and HE and I know they can be expensive to repair so when he told me how much he was going to charge my mouth fell open, I was so grateful. I cannot believe they've been there for over 40 years. Well they have our business we will definitely go there for any appliance repair they also sell used appliances so we will definitely always check with them first. I cannot say enough about how happy we are with their service.“

“In May of 2024, Aaron P. came to my place and helped me with a dishwasher that is decades old to clean it out and show me how to keep the blades clean.

It's a low-tech dishwasher and seems to be lasting forever. Thank you very much for teaching me something new on how to take good care of this appliance that keeps on tickin'

It is an Amana dishwasher low-tech and does the job. I use the 1 hour setting which is fantastic. Saves a lot of water“

At that moment with the most honest answer I received was Mr. Alka giving me a tip for FREE, on what is causing the problem. He mentioned to me I don't want to take your money it wouldn't be right. “Every time we have requested service, it has been prompt and on time. We have been using them for 10+ years on all our appliances. Washer, Dryer, replacing the motor on our dishwasher. Vladim as diagnosed that our Microwave needed a new control panel, and it was cheaper to just buy a new Microwave. Our repairman, Vladim, not only fixes appliance problems, but he thinks outside the box. He created a fix for an issue I have had with my Kitchen-Aide Ice Maker since I bought it in 2013. He fixed it yesterday, and now I know why my ice production has been so poor. Kudos to him. I would only trust my appliances to West Coast Appliance Repair.“
