I was referred to Dr. Peterson and boy am I glad I listened! The location was incredibly convenient. From the moment I called for an appointment to when I first walked in, everyone was smiling and very friendly. They took me through my paper work and made sure my insurance covered my appointment, which I certainly appreciate. The last thing I need is surprise bills. It had been a few years since I've seen an optometrist and I knew my eyes were getting a bit worse. Dr. Peterson's staff was fast, friendly and it really put me at ease. I'm not a huge fan of visiting doctors in general, so it was great to be able to feel like I was taken care of, as if I was part of his family, even from the first visit. When I sat down with Dr. Peterson, he walked me through the tests and procedures. I asked if I was a candidate for Lasik (15 years of glasses and a new baby, I wasn't sure if I was even know if I'm eligible). He said my eyes had changed slightly from my glasses, which were prescribed years ago by a different doctor. He wanted me to come in for a consultation, but what I really appreciated was that he never pressured me to order new contacts or buy new glasses. I knew if I wanted new ones, he would order them for me, but I can't tell you how much I appreciate the laid back service. Nowadays, I feel like everyone is trying to sell me something, even if it isn't something I want. I never once felt pressured, which will make me buy from him any day ("Miracle on 34th Street" policy) I'd highly recommend Dr. Peterson to anyone! Zero out of pocket thanks to insurance and the best in the business!!

I went to Dr. Peterson for help and he is the best optometrist in San Diego. He is very kind hearted and professional. I got my eyes lasered based on his recommendation and I'm loving my perfect vision!
