I have been using Home Instead for a few months now for mom. Symphony was so incredibly helpful when we decided we needed outside care for mom. She made the decision easy to try them out. Cheri is our wonderful caregiver who has been able to acclimate and accommodate mom as needed. It was difficult for mom to have a stranger in her home but after a few weeks things are going smoothly and we are delighted with Cheri. The whole staff at Home Instead has been so responsive and easy to work with as we transition to this new chapter for us and mom.

My brother and I recently reached out to Home Instead for help with our Dad. The same day as our call, Symphony, the owner, was at the house to meet with us and discuss our options. She was compassionate and I really liked how she engaged with our Dad and took the time to ask him about his interests. Getting to this stage in life isn't easy, especially for the one needing the care, and she truly made him (and us) feel very comfortable. Her communication and follow up, as well as that of her staff, have been exceptional.

We have used the La Mesa HomeInstead's services for a few years and overall give them high marks. We first hired them to help out with my mother, who had dementia. It took a bit of trial and error but eventually she was matched with Erin, who had a calm and patient demeanor that was a good fit with my mom. Aside from taking care of prepping mom's meals and assisting with her personal grooming, she would spend time painting and coloring with my mom--staying engaged with her in a way that was very important to us.
