Have been coming here for about 5 years. Sun does a great job, very quick and professional, listens to your instructions. Will converse if that’s what you want or will just be quiet if you want to read. Appointments mean no wait times but will take walking if free.

Was able to accommodate my next-day appointment seamlessly, was just a matter of a quick phone call. You can tell he's pretty skilled at what he does which makes sense since he's been doing it for 25+ some years. My haircut was finished quickly, efficiently and matched the photo that I showed him pretty well! It was clear that he had many local repeat customers which is always a fantastic sign. He's not the most conversational barber but does give off a friendly vibe, almost as if an uncle was cutting your hair. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a quick, efficient, well-priced cut in La Jolla!

This is a small business that should definitely be supported! Sun is an excellent barber and he’s very friendly! He’s efficient, yet thorough. Call ahead to schedule an appointment if possible, but he has even squeezed me in when I’ve walked in without calling first (on more than one occasion). His price point is very reasonable for the area, as he only charged $33 for my haircuts. He does not have an ATM, so either bring cash or prepare your Venmo for payment
