I went to this facility for a dermatology treatment that required multiple visits a week. When I asked about coverage they called my insurance and said it is covered 100%. When I got to the Dr. office I asked about a co-pay and they said it was not required. When I saw the Dr. I was charged a copay and paid at that time. So I proceeded with the treatment only to get a $500 bill. They have assumed zero responsibility for their part and they seriously don't care. Won't even discuss it. I recently had two test procedures done at Shiley. The staff were great friendly & caring .I could not speak highly enough about them. I had 3 people come into my space within 6 feet wearing masks .( I was also wearing a mask) I asked one nurse when last they were tested for Covid I was told that really a good while ago and that Scripps did not have enough test kits. One hears that masks are not nearly the complete answer and I must say I was somewhat uncomfortable. I wonder what is the official policy of Scripps is in this regard.
