Let's just say there's a reason these guys have nothing but 5-star reviews, Trevor (the owner) immediately greeted me with a smile and led me to my seat where Greg so graciously looked at my phone to see exactly what kind of cut I wanted and checked in with me along the way to make any changes. I told them it was my "pre-pre-wedding cut" (wild I know) and they pulled out the white glove service for me and even gave me wedding tips!! By far the friendliest barbers I've ever met and might I even say top 30 friendliest human beings I've met (I've met a few humans in my day) - you will not be disappointed by Trevor and Greg and no matter where you are you HAVE TO make the drive / Metro train ride over to see these guys. Your wife/husband/hook-up/ex (if you want to rekindle) will thank you. Oh yeah and I got a nice sparkling water and some product on my way out as well.“

Freddy shapes his hair so well, carefully keeping it at the longer length he prefers, and always allows my husband to carefully examine the cut after in case he wants to make any adjustments. Arenas' one of those rare, truly old school barbershops that are the source material for the modern old school (but wholly sanitized) barbershops that serve as a Bat Signal that you've entered the latest hip neighborhood. There's nothing hip about the block where you'll find Arenas', unless of course you recognize the magic in having a bar next door that specializes in board games or you want to have a cheat day with Colonel Sanders at the KFC on the corner. But all of this is OK because Burbank rules without even having to try. Go get a haircut from Kat at Arenas' and on the way home stop at the Train Shack and watch the model trains for a while or work off those buttermilk biscuits by taking some hacks at the Batcade.“
