I was extremely nervous to get my dogs dental procedures done . One of them had never been under anesthesia before and like all of us pet owners we worry about our babies . I researched a lot of different specialists to take my dog to and through due diligence I landed on Dr. Furman . I have to hand it to him and his staff . Everyone there is extremely professional, welcoming and kind . He took the time to explain each step of the process and made us feel as comfortable as possible . Dr Furman and his staff are absolutely amazing. Our sweet GSD had a tumor above her k9 that needed to be removed along with 2 teeth and bone. From consult to post surgery, the entire staff was very attentive and kept us updated throughout the entire process. You can tell they truly care about your fur baby. I will definitely recommend!
My 8 month old Siberian Husky who chews like a wolverine, broke his lower right canine tip. The staff at VDS after listening to our story was able to take my puppy in for treatment right away.
Dr. Furman draws great pictures of your dog's teeth, explains all the options available to your dog's care and corrected our puppy's tooth in less than 2 hours total.
If you need the best in Vet Dentistry you found the right place to go.
Suggestions for other dog owners, rawhide, nylon bone, real bone are not good things for your puppy to chew on. VDS suggestion is if you can't dent it with your fingernail, it's too hard. I agree!
