POST-OP CHECK UP ! My wife had an eye operation on Friday and today had a 1pm appointment with Dr. E ( Dr. Lilangi Suhadini Ediriwickrema, MD Ophthalmology...the doctor who performed the operation. I drove my wife over here and parked our wheels in the humongous multi level parking garage. We arrived here bang on time. My wife waited in line to check in and then took the elevator up to the next floor. Meanwhile I sat on a comfy chair in the lobby for an hour or so checking stuff on my iPhone. I've been seeing Dr Farid as my corneal specialist for 5 years after I had a problem with my cataract surgery ( done elsewhere). Check in always easy, with little wait time. Testing is done with great explanation from each medical assistant, moving towards seeing Dr Farid. Dr Farid is an excellent doctor, awesome bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable, trying many options to help with my eye sight. Highly recommend
I recently had my first appointment with Doctor Andrew Smith at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at UCI. After testing and a very thorough exam from Dr Smith he informed me that I have a narrow angle in both eyes and would benefit from a laser treatment. Upon hearing this I was quite frightened and full of anxiety. He explained the procedure to me in detail and made sure to answer all of the questions that I had and put to rest all of my concerns. When I returned for the procedure it was exactly as he had described to me and I almost cried with joy since all my anxiety and fears were unwarranted.
