A friendly piano studio with high caliber teachers & a compassionate director. Our daughter had taken lessons at another popular, larger studio up to MTAC CM Level 7 with State Honors & Convention, but we found Pianoforte to be a refreshing change with more flexibility, less pressure, & personable, inspiring teachers. We spent the last four years at Pianoforte, grateful for Ms. June’s excellent teaching skills & her kind, sweet & patient personality. She helped to improve our daughter’s musicality & dynamics, guiding her through State Honors & Convention in CM Level 10 & an additional year of Advanced CM. I had both of my daughters take piano lessons at Pianoforte. I highly recommend this studio. They will train your kids classically, paying attention to each kid's style and strengths. I have taught 2nd - 6th grade in elementary school as well as having an undergrad degree in music with piano and playing piano professionally at my church, I can honestly say that I would not take my kids anywhere else. Ms. Judy, the owner/teacher, is so understanding and kind to my daughters. She instills joy in music whereas so many kids end up hating piano after having a bad teacher. There is also summer recital and winter recital, giving kids opportunities to perform and thereby be more motivated. Highly highly recommend.
