I credit Hoag Urgent Care in Irvine, CA with saving my life. I arrived there late one evening with the sudden onset of difficulty breathing. My lungs sounded clear, ECG and chest X-ray showed no abnormality, and being one who minimizes symptoms, I would have agreed if I had been told I could go home. But the doctor (I really wish I could remember her name) was convinced something serious was going on and I needed to have a CT scan right away. She was insistent that it couldn’t wait until morning. She even wrote out what I needed to tell the ER to insure that I was seen immediately. As it turns out, her instincts were correct and I was in a life threatening situation.... read full review
Positivity and laughter is so contagious and when I go to an urgent care that is what I want to catch! The staff at the Hoag urgent care in Irvine are so awesome and Aaron was my favorite cause his super energetic personality made me forget that I was in pain! Highly recommend this location for quality care they provide!
This urgent care is located near a lot of hiking/running/biking trails in Irvine... which came in handy today when I decided to become one with the earth and fall whilst on a run. This urgent care allows you to schedule appointments in advance; I did not pre-schedule, as I wasn't planning to get injured. On a Saturday morning, I waited approximately 20 minutes. All of the staff were very personable, friendly and helpful. The Physician Assistant (Graham) who helped me and stitched up my cut was very thorough in explaining what he was doing.
