My old Western Digital external drive that had my kids priceless pictures stopped spinning one day. Oh, the panic and sadness I felt that day! After talking to friends, making lots of calls, I found Data Mechanix and took my drive in. The drive head had gotten stuck and scratched the platter so there was some damage. Maria was very patient to work with my slow reading drive (took much much longer than ancipated) but she and her team were patient and recovered as much data possible with multiple replacement of the data head. They couldn't get everything but that's not at all their fault has to do with a broken drive. Researched alot before I brought it in and honestly they have some of the best prices and services of any in house data recovery place I've seen.

Great customer service! Maria kept me updated and at ease during the entire procedure. My drive failed over the weekend, in panic I tried to fix the problem myself but only made it worse. I started calling around and Data Mechanix was the only business without an automated machine or voicemail and available to help immediately! Thank you!
