“STRONG HEADSHOTS!!! Nadia is a pleasure to shoot with. She had her work station set up and was a perfect host making sure I was comfortable before getting infront of the camera. She had so much patience with my nerves! She put me at ease and was a positive voice during our shoot, giving clear directions and helpful commentary on the poses. She made sure to know what I was aiming for and pushed click until succeeding. These are the best face photos I have ever had, they are what I asked for and are perfect for what I need.“

“Okay- here’s the dirt.If you go look at their Instagram and website, it’s hard to tell who they’ve shot recently.That’s on purpose.They’ve had a bunch of their former clients become headshot photographers who copy them. So Theo and Juliet intentionally DON’T share their newest work.Also, they undersell themselves. You have noooo idea how good they are at THE WHOLE THING.I paid the upgrade to have Juliet pick out my clothing. I want her to style my whole life. I bought a few of the pieces, even one I didn’t shoot in. She’s so good.Theo and Juliet are HILARIOUS. They’re so good at putting you at ease. So much so that I’m like, are they tired after this? Because I didn’t have to worry about a THING.They’re watching for your errant hairs, your errant boobage, and you can trust they’re never going to get your face from a bad angle. (Because they’ll call each other out and fix the angle and backdrop and lighting until it’s perfect - and you’re laughing as they do it.)My makeup was so good I didn’t want to wash my face at the end of the day.Seriously the best headshot experience ever. I’ve shot probably ten headshot photographers (as a tween and in my 20’s) and this was the best experience I’ve ever had.You leave your shoot with them feeling like everything is possible. (It is, but it’s easy to forget, you know?)Don’t bother comparison shopping or being a weirdo like me who was like “I’ll lose ten pounds but shoot with someone else in the meantime.” Don’t do that. Just shoot with them. They’ll make you look like you’re ten pounds smaller anyway.They’re soooo good at nailing your look and vibe. It’s amazing.They’re worth every penny. Do it do it do it. Amen.Also- funny story, we hadn’t originally booked with them. See above in regards to being a weirdo. My husband is also an actor and shot with them 20 years ago. But we’d booked with another “big name” with a name that sounds kinda like a race car driver…We lived in Phoenix at the time so we booked an Airbnb in LA, jumped through the hoops to get the PCR c test (their requirement), arrived in town and sent the test. …And they somehow hadn’t booked the slot. We’d even sent the deposit.They didn’t take responsibility. It was super weird. So I told my husband to email Juliet, which he did. She called back super quickly AND squeezed him in. We cancelled my shots with the original person and rescheduled me with Theo and Juliet, too.Theo and Juliet are hilarious, they legitimately care, and they only shoot one person per day so you get a FULL experience.Okay this REALLY concludes my review.“

“Cristen is the full package (she provides hair, makeup, venue and is the photographer). She even went above and beyond and was emotionally supportive. As a personal self-love exercise and plus sized woman, I hired her to do a boudoir photoshoot to help with my confidence and self-love journey. Cristen helped put my anxieties at ease about certain aspects of the photoshoot. This was super helpful! Furthermore, I was surprised at how good she was at my hair and makeup. I just thought that I couldn't look good in curls and that I would never be able to pull off curls but I was wrong! Cristen is multi-talented!!! I wish I could do my hair the way she does it. Both hair and makeup were so beautiful!! Her space is really beautiful, esthetic and carefully curated. I wish I was skilled enough to have this type of eye. During the photoshoot, she gave me a lot of verbal queues and that was super helpful! She will walk you through the process and the poses with compassion and encouragement. She is truly so sweet and personable. I received my photos from the first photoshoot and they're breathtaking! My sister couldn't believe that I was the person in the photos but I am! I already booked my second photoshoot with her for later this month. I am so happy that I invested in myself this way and that Cristen was my photographer because I don't think anyone else could have executed and delivered the way she did.“

“Dust Studios is an amazing rental studio! The rental spaces are well equipped, super clean and easily accessible. There is also plenty of reserved parking and the staff could not be friendlier. Plus they offer wide variety of rental equipment on premise. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mario and the director of operations, Sophia and it was obvious that they really care about the experience the creative professional has while at their studios.
