Requested style: Color, press and curl.
Stylist: Jaime is always efficient. She is kind and takes her time with her senior citizen clients. They never have to wait long. She never over books her clients. She is a dream.
I patronized Inglewood Beauty Salon after walking in one day and being greeted by a stylist by the name of Ebony. She was very nice, but I was apprehensive about sitting in her chair simply because the last 3 stylists I had do my hair (1 stylist did it twice and the other 2 did it once) did not meet my expectations. People make promises during the course of a conversation, but when you sit down for them to actually do your hair, the beautiful job they did for others is not what you receive. I am punctual. I pay, in cash, what is quoted. If they do additional work, I pay for the additional work and I tip. With that said, I would have expected to find the right stylist sooner. I can safely say my search is over. I spoke to Ebony about color, the fact that my hair was recently cut shorter than I anticipated, as well as a really good [deep] conditioner. I had a relaxer almost a year ago, but not having been retouched since that time, I was seeking someone who could press my hair silky straight. Ebony is a woman of her word. Everything she said she would do, she did. She not only met, but she exceeded my expectations. I have not had my hair washed, conditioned or flat ironed/pressed so well in longer than I can remember - quite possibly years. I did not ask her for a silk press, because everyone who claimed they do silk presses did not yield a silky result. Ebony had my very thick hair looking and feeling so sleek, it was as though I exchanged heads with someone else. She takes her time to wash hair properly, color it thoroughly, condition it properly and straighten it properly. She has an amazing personality. She is very professional and just a fun person to be around. I am typically anti-social and not one to open up to strangers. As Wendy Williams would say, Ebony is my new best friend 'in my head'. Her pricing is very fair - more than many stylists I have consulted with or patronized. If you are looking for a qualified stylist who genuinely cares about the health of your hair, please contact Ebony. I will not publish her number without her consent, but feel free to DM me and I will be happy to forward your info to her (or with her permission, DM you her number). I say this because a stylist who has not worked at this salon in over a decade has been posting her personal cell phone number and blocking the salon from receiving their rightful clientele. If you call the salon and someone named Louise answers, please do not patronize her services, as she does not work at Inglewood Beauty Salon. The owners of the salon also own the adjacent Inglewood Beauty Supply, which has been my preferred beauty salon for about 20 years. They have always afforded me excellent service as well.
Super nice and great customer service. I needed a random appointment at a crazy time and they took me even though I wasn't a regular. Super thankful that the stars aligned me with this salon.
