Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them.<br><br>I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. “We have two chihuahua mix rescues who have both benefited greatly from their training with Alexandra. One of our dogs was reactive, and its now much easier to bring him on walks as well as have visitors to our home. The other was quite skittish which made training on our own tricky. Alexandra really helped us navigate his needs and build up his confidence. Both of our dogs are more confident and much better citizens since they started training. Also, while we originally did training in person and weren't quite sure how well virtual training would go, Alexandra navigates Zoom training remarkably and we don't feel like we're losing anything from not having in-person sessions.“

“I have known Alex for several years. He helped me with my last dog. I was just exasperated with Ben. He chewed up my furniture twice and was just a wild child! After taking Ben home to work with him he came back a changed dog. Most recently, Alex took my little Frenchie pup into his Board and Train program. The staff is beyond fantastic - all so caring and compassionate and clearly so passionate about dogs. “Oliver used to go to doggy daycare and sleep ALL DAY. Now he gets picked up and goes for a hike with various buddies - and I get a picture as proof. He's always grinning like a fool, as are his friends. He's clearly having a blast. Aly is the BEST and he adores her (I've seen them together) and she is good enough to get the prickles and foxtails off him after the hike. Then he's wiped out for the rest of the day. “I can't believe I never wrote a review about my wonderful experience with Stacie! It has been about over a year and half since our last training session. I have a now 11 year old dog named Shin-Shin who we got as a puppy and was not trained properly. He was aggressive towards every living thing that wasn't a main family member but I knew he was a sweetie inside and wanted others to experience his kinder side. I took 8 training sessions and while he may not be perfect being as his old habits have stuck a bit, he's much more manegeable. My partner, who doesn't live with me, has admitted that he's like a different dog now. Before Shin-Shin made my partner nervous and always looked ready to attack but can now cuddle with him. It takes a lot of patience and observation to understand a dog and surely a lesson learned for any future pets I may have in the future. Stacie was so easy and friendly to work with utilizing positive and fun reinforcements only! She truly cares about the wellbeing of the relationship between the dog and human. Would go back to her in an instant if needed, highly recommend!!!“

“My husband and I just wrapped up a series of in-home training sessions with Jenina and our two dogs, and we were both blown away by what a committed, talented and generous dog trainer she is.<br><br>We'd hired her to help with our recently-adopted dog Zoey, whose stress-triggered aggression had resulted in a couple of our friends being bitten. Jenina clearly knows what she's doing, having worked in this industry for over two decades. But at least as important, she's also a calming, kind presence, and even Zoey- who's suspicious of all visitors- quickly warmed up to her.<br><br>My husband and I have a lot of work to do with Zoey, but thanks to Jenina, we have some great exercises to practice with Zoey to build her confidence and decrease her reactivity. Jenina also gave us excellent recommendations for better managing our environment when guests come over to avoid risk of any more bites occurring in the future. We're both starting to feel a lot more hopeful that we can eventually have a more relaxed life with Zoey, as long as we put in the work.<br><br>It's clear Jenina is in this line of work for the love of dogs and not for the money. Her prices are surprisingly affordable- a big relief given the rapidly escalating costs of pet care in recent years. We really appreciated that rather than trying to sell us another package when we exhausted our first package's sessions, she encouraged us to practice what we've learned for a while, and reach out to her when we're ready for more assistance. “Dog-E-Den Hollywood is the best! I started taking my 1 year old dog there M-F about a month and a half ago. He has the best time, and is so excited to get there and play with his new friends every morning. The staff is all very friendly and they keep the dog area very clean throughout the day. I love that I can check in on my baby via the cameras and the daily report cards with photos are a nice touch. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good daycare option for your pup.“
