I guess I am at the age where manicurists don't ask if I have a boy-fren, but if I have a husband... I came here for Mai, but am staying because of Sandy. Initially, I found this place from walking by and looking them up on Yelp because I needed a pedi but didn't want to make the trek out to my usual person in Garden Grove. I also changed jobs so didn't want to make the trek all the way out to my manicurist in Anaheim, but couldn't find a good person who could do dip powder except her. The owner at a nail salon I went to in Garden Grove caused damage to my nails at end of May so I had left my nails alone since then so they could recover. Sandy answered the phone and, to my surprise, booked a same day appointment on a Saturday. I wasn't sure I'd be able to come in because of some reviews I saw that said it had to be booked weeks out. Sandy greeted me at the door when I came in, setup my pedi at the station, turned on the massager at my chair and brought me a bottle of water. Excellent service on her part. Reviewers weren't wrong that Mai does a good job. Only problem with her is that she upsells. She asked if I wanted a gel pedi. I said no, just a regular pedi as I had said when I called. She insisted it lasts longer. Again, I said no, because I don't want to wait a long time to go in for pedis. She asked if I wanted callus remover for an extra $7 and some other unnecessary stuff that amounted to $40. I pointed at the basic pedi for $20 and said that's all I wanted, plus French tip. She said she already applied the stuff to do the callus remover under my feet. Why ask me if I want it if you're already doing it? That irked me. I still tipped her when we were done but I am on the fence about booking another appointment with her. She did a good job but she's pushy, and I didn't like that at all. Sandy, on the other hand, did an awesome job and I will be coming back to do dip powder French tip nails with her.

I work near VN Beauty Nails & Spa, so for me convenience is key. The ladies here are friendly and talented. I have never waited longer than 10 mins. They do a good job on gel but they are limited with their dip options.Services: Hand & foot massages

I just moved back home and I still love coming to VN for my nails and lashes! My extensions last up to 3 weeks, sometimes longer depending on care. Sandy does a great job! Mae does wonders with your feet. Do not pass on the callous remover because she will make your feet feel smoother than a baby's bottom! Overall, you will feel welcomed and get exactly what you're looking for here (mani, pedi, waxes, lashes, you name it!)
