My two dogs teeth were pretty clean when they finished. I don't like the anesthesia part of a thorough cleaning at the vet so I thought I would try this way with no anesthesia. Came out pretty good.
Had my dog's teeth cleaned by Qualified Pet Dental at Penny's Pup Wash in Costa Mesa. Making appt online was easy and they texted me for confirmation a week prior to the appt. The appt was done within 30 mins and I was worried that my dog would be too anxious but they got it done! Everything went smoothly. Except when they recommended the Oratene Brushless Toothpaste Gel and they made it sound so magical and stuff so I was sold even for $40. Tried on my dog's teeth a couple of times and both times it gave her diarrhea. So today I finally googled this toothpaste, turns out Amazon/Chewy sell these for less than $15. The teeth cleaning was $209, they asked for tips, and got us to buy the $40 toothpaste. Rookie mistake on my part. I would take my dog back for cleaning but definitely would not fall for the toothpaste sales pitch again.
Qualified Pet Dental is the best! Their staff is professional and warm. They get my Yorkie's teeth shiny and gorgeous! I'm grateful they do not use anesthesia. The work is done within 30-45 minutes, with amazing results. My doggie is actually strutting with happiness! He loves his freshly cleaned teeth. I do too. Thank you, Qualified Pet Dental!
