We had our first lesson with Lindsay. She was great and focusing on exactly what we need for our Velma (boxer puppy). Lindsay experience definitely shows in her training, great ideas to help build Velma’s confidence. Would recommend Oc paws training!
I had the unique opportunity to not only work with one but 2 trainers. My dog Flynn is my everything. He is the most loving dog but also very reactive when it comes to strangers(especially males) and other dogs. On top of that, I live in a very busy apartment complex which isn’t the best environment for Flynn. I started lessons with Stacy in January, and after 20 minutes she gained the trust of Flynn and helped teach my boyfriend and I to work on his leash skills especially in our busy environment. Then we moved to a park to help with reactivity in an open space. Once COVID hit, we had to put lessons on hold. My schedule didn’t line up with Stacy anymore but she offered to set us up with Andrew who was just as great with Flynn as Stacy. They are both extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This also gave us the opportunity to give Flynn a good experience with another male. We recently finished our last lesson with Andrew and Flynn only barked once out of the whole hour. Everyday will still be a challenge but my boyfriend and I feel a lot more prepared and confident thanks to both Stacy and Andrew. Flynn is now more confident and now has two more people that he loves to be around. I strongly recommend OC paws for anyone, including those with reactive pets.
