Had a severe asthma/allergy attack last evening and was taken by ambulance to HBH. Everyone from the paramedics, doctors, and ER staff were thorough, kind, & attentive. Very grateful to have HBH & the HBH ER team so close to home! A special thanks to the HB paramedics & HBFD for their speedy arrival and their experienced team of professionals. Much appreciated!
While no one enjoys being at the ER, HB has the best group of Drs and nurses. I only saw a few other pts, not like most other ERs they gave me very prompt attention, excellent care and idle conversation while we waited for CT, results etc The only way they could of helped more would be to prevent my accident in the first place- but I won’t hold them to that. ?
I have been hospitalized there at Huntington Beach Hospital several times. Everyone is kind which means the most to me. They are professional and very caring. Each time I have had to go there, I am promptly routes through the ER and taken care of immediately and within some time, I usually get a room. The only thing o can complain about is the last room I stayed in, I had a room mate. That was not a problem. The problem was that where the bed area was so small that my side table would not fit so it was difficult for me to eat. Also there was hardly any room for the nurses.
