The staff was so helpful and supportive as we went through this process. They made everything as easy as possible and answered all our questions. The service itself was beautiful and the venue was also beautiful.
We're from out of town and all initial coordination was done through the phone before I made it to California to make arrangements in person. I felt this team made things easy and straightforward, there was no up selling at any point in the process. They listened to what we wanted and gave us exactly that. The funeral is a blur now, and I'm just slowly processing things but our guests complimented the venue being very beautiful and intimate; and my mom being impressed that the team understood Buddhist rituals better than we did. Thank you for making my dad's send off a mostly stress-free event.
We used Heritage-Dilday earlier this year for 2 deaths in the family. Our first contact was with Shirley, the pre-arrangement manager. She gave us a really good first impression of Heritage-Dilday. She was extremely gentle and kind when at the time, it was very difficult. We appreciated that she accomodated exactly what we wanted and wasn't pushy in trying to sell us something more. Elizabeth and Julia were also very gentle and kind, providing followup for the cremations when needed. Several weeks later, followup text mesesages were sent to see how we were doing and to let us know that they were available to help in our grief, if needed.
