I have had vision issues since I was kid that have worsened w/ age (nearsighted, farsighted and my eyes don't coordinate well together w/ fluctuating double vision and depth perception issues). I have gone to vision therapy, use glasses, etc. and even with those tools I have not found a stable solution. I was having to do more computer work related to starting a business and was having tension headaches, with increased vision difficulties. After 1 acupuncture session at Healing Power the tension headaches related to the computer work were gone, and the severity/frequency of the double vision was reduced and remained that way. After the 2nd visit (1 week later) I began having improved depth perception. What took months for me to achieve w/ vision therapy in the past, I have achieved in 2 acupuncture treatments. I highly recommend giving Healing Power a try.
It is so peaceful in here. It is so quiet and zen. The doctor is so kind and attentive. After your initial they pretty much have you all pinned up less than 5mins of your arrival. The two doctors are the only ones present in the office. You can choose to use your insurance or pay cash. $200 for the initial and $100 for all follow ups. Each visit is one(1) hour. I've done acupuncture before for pain management on some joints in my younger years. But now having long term side effects from contracting COVID in December 2020 I'm throwing anything at the wall and hoping it sticks just to get some relief. So far I've been here two times to treat: headaches, sinus pain, dizziness and fatigue. Each time I've gone I've felt better for 24-72hrs. Not sure exactly how acupuncture works. And honestly I didn't ask too many questions. Because like I said throwing anything at the wall and hoping it sticks. I'm finding that a combination of the alternative medicine with the western medicine is helpful. Especially since the alternative medicine forces you to relax haha! It is worth a shot to try the alternative medicine. Between the acupuncture, the IV infusion, the chiropractor, the ENT and another specialist I am almost back to "normal". But acupuncture has played a large roll in the headache relief and sinus pain relief.
