“I have had a long beard and hair for 10 years.It was a big decision to get cut. I walked by this barber's, the 1st day visiting from the UK. I liked the vibe from the outside. I decided to go back and spoke to a couple of the barbers working to ask and give ideas of what I wanted. They gave me the time, opinion and consideration. I felt listened to and welcomed. We were going through our phones and comparing images and ideas. I was given a 9 AM appointment with Jimmy. We did early as to give time for any changes or if I decided not to go through with it as my hair and beard was that long. It was a very big decision for me. The result was truly perfect! I can honestly say the end cut was exactly what I was hoping for! The hair and the beard for a complete ten out of ten and I couldn't have been happier with the end result. I even went back a second time the same day as I felt I didn't get beard short enough as suggested by a Jimmy, which he was more than happy to sort and gave me it free of charge. Jimmy is a very talented Barber for as young as he is, professional, skilled and has a very prosperous future. He really listened and took in everything that I suggested and gave me a very professional haircut. He welcomed me in, gave me a top-tier cut, and made me feel like more than just another customer. That night made me a client for life.

I consider him a friend now as I’ve known him for quite a long time.In The Game is now appointment only. With how popular their barbers are, I actually prefer this as I can book in advance and sit in Travis’ chair immediately when I show up for my appointment. In the past if it was a busy day I’d potentially wait for over an hour to get a cut. Can’t recommend this shop (and Travis) enough!“

“I’ve been going here a little while now since it just opened up and my barber frankie has switched to this location. The shop is always clean, tvs on to watch a movie or sports if you want to while you wait or get haircut. I advise setting up an appointment because they are busy with good reason. They welcome walk ins if they can but it’s best to setup a time online, which is super easy.

I recommend Frankie because he will do the best haircut he can for you and is very welcoming. The only thing I wish was better was the chairs while you wait but it’s not like a game of throne chair. Lol. Great for a haircut. Check it out.“

My main barber in LA county was so consistent and spot on, so like anyone, it's always anxiety inducing wondering if someone won't get it quite right. After a few impromptu drop ins to different barbers in OC, I was disappointed no one could get it quite right. I explained to Nick I was looking for a pretty standard mid fade, maybe a little higher and tighter with a light trim on the top. I could tell from his experience he looked at my head shape, and couldn't have been more spot on with getting my fade and trim to the tee based on the current state and what I was asking for. My son wanted a zero fade (I had no idea what that is) and he's hated all his hair cuts previously at other barbers that charge double and were dismissive of what he wanted because he's a kid.
