I was very happy with my experience here. Location is clean, and didn't feel over crowded. There was a good amount of street parking, but I was able to find a spot in the lot. I checked in via the email they sent. The front desk staff was friendly, and sent me upstairs to the waiting room. There were separate waiting area for medical, children, and dental. I saw Dr. Acosta, and he was excellent. He was very professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease. He answered any questions I had, and took care of paperwork needed for my employer. A+ for bedside manner! The support staff (nursing) was wonderful as well.
I am very happy with their services. The staff are very friendly, from the wonderful ladies who work the front desk to the doctors and nurses providing care for patients. Professional, compassionate, and consistent are three words I would attribute to Altamed. My only issue is with the insurance department. I usually cannot get ahold of anyone to answer my questions regarding insurance. I hope they are more responsive in the future.
I don't want to be too specific because I still go here haha Staff (front desk, MAs are pretty nice). My actual assigned doctor is not very helpful. At all. The ob/gyn who did my pap is very nice and helpful. When I was sick and called in to schedule an online appointment as well as for blood work, Brianna over the phone said they do blood work at this clinic. Not so. When I came in for my appointment at 9AM they sent me to Quest Diagnostics across the street and apologized. I walked over there and quest said they keep sending people over on a walk-in basis so unless you have an appointment be prepared to wait indefinitely. I went online and scheduled an appointment later that day at a Quest in Fountain Valley during the time I could go (I made an appt because I have other things to do). What a waste of my time. They have no respect for people's time. When I make appointments I have to take time off work and be prepared to wait...
