Mr. Ramon Rivera Valencia also has another business under the name of RZ Landscape & Concrete, he has listed as the business address as 2656 Beachwood Dr, Merced, Ca 95348 and list his wife Zoreida (209)947-3337 for English. We contracted him to build a block fence and like many of the other stories below, subpar work if he shows up, promises to be on the worksite at 8 am and is on his way with the materials needed and never shows up or calls. Do not trust this person. Do not trust his work or workers and do not give him any monies because you won't see him or the job you contracted for. This one year later of excuses and no shows and he still took 250 blocks that we paid for.
Work is mediocre. He gave us a bid that included stone, however when I picked the stone out he told me I couldn't pick that one because that's not what he bid for. Instead of leaving the bid open to whatever choice I ended up deciding, he just said here's what you can choose from (we already started other concrete work with him as part of the same bid, so I couldn't just abandon him) HE COMPLETELY SUCKS AT COMMUNICATION! He would constantly tell me he would be here at a certain time and date, would never show or communicate to let me know he wasn't going to be making it. This happened about 20 times over the course of the entire job. I'd ask to just let me know ahead of time, so I wasn't just sitting around waiting. Never did that. He would sometimes go a couple days without responding. Once we were fed up and told him this was complete BS, he did a sh*tty job on the sealing of the concrete on purpose. Where the sealed concrete meets the unsealed concrete, it's halfway on the unsealed concrete. There is no nice clean line of sealed next to unsealed. My 3 year old could have done a better job. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! Spend a little extra to get better service! Otherwise you'll be doing it twice..
Highly recommended!!! Three men broke up concrete skirting around an in ground pool then they filled the pool with dirt and leveled the ground. They cleaned any mess there was. All in only six (6) hours. Mr Rivera is a nice professional man who knows his stuff. His prices are very reasonable which to me means an honest man. Thank you Mr Rivera, Rich Briggs
