Garcias Hair Salon is fabulous! I came to Hollister from out of town and couldn't find an open spot in the early morning, 9 am. I walked in, was greeted with a friendly smile, and they began to work on me right away. I didn't get the guy's name, but he cut hair in the chair closest to the street / window. HE WAS AWESOME! I'm very particular about my haircuts, and his cut was a home run. The fade was on point. If you're looking for a good, fast, and reasonably priced hair cut, Garcia's Hair Salon is the spot! You can thank me later.

In 2020, I made the leap to Hollister, seeking a local beautician to save me the trek to San Jose. After three years of sifting through countless reviews and recommendations, I was growing tired of hiding my grays and in dire need of a haircut. Then, today out of all days (Sunday) when I decided enough was enough, all salons were closed except for one, with just three reviews and pictures of men's and boys' haircuts. But my desire for the perfect look couldn't wait, and there I met Toni, the woman who would transform my hair. With her expert touch, she brought my hair back to life with a vibrant dye and exquisite long-layering. I took a chance, and it paid off beautifully. Now, I'm beaming with happiness and eagerly look forward to more appointments with Toni. While I can't show you a "before" picture (because who likes their before picture anyways) , here's the stunning "after" that speaks for itself.

When it comes to a haircut, my son is handful and is often discarded from frustrated hair stylist who 'give up' and I leave with a half a** haircut. But today, on a whim I went to Garcia's hair salon because it was open super early and Lourdes went above and beyond and really got to work on him. I left with a gorgeous cut that was faded, even and my son looked sharp. I'm not Spanish speaking but we were able to communicate with what I wanted and she shared what she thought was best and together, me holding him in my lap, we got it done. I'm beyond happy to have found someone with the patience and eager to work on a toddler. I will definitely be back, I think he may have found his person! Please check them out, they are located next to Miyako's. Her name is Lourdes and she's a gem
