I asked for my hair a few inches shorter, just one length. No layers or anything. They completely messed it up. It's so uneven. I asked to thin it out and she thinned out maybe 2 small sections. The girls technique was really weird. I'm not sure they know what they're doing here. Wouldn't recommend.

Shelby was my hairdresser and she was very unprofessional and ruined my hair. She was distracted the whole time, on the phone, going in the back to talk, leaving for long spells in the middle of putting foils in my hair. So parts of my hair endedup way over processed, so much so that it was breaking off. I had to have 6 inches cut off and it was still shedding heavily. the underside was white, because it was left on way longer then the top, and the top was yellow. she left right after my hair was washed and the owner had to finish it for her. She was great and worked to try and fix the yellow top and gave me matrix rebound packets for me to use at home. I do not recommend Shelby at all! I can't say how the other hairdressers perform.

I love Special Effects. Elizabeth Cox has such an eye for color and her talent is second to none. The whole salon has such a welcoming atmosphere. You always feel like you've made a best friend when you leave. I highly recommend their services
