Earlier this year, I decided to build a house in the back of my property (ADU). Had no idea how to go about it. Started with architects that came to me through word of mouth that didn't go anywhere. I decided to find one on my own and took a gamble with an online search. And, that is how I found Devin Moreau Architects. From the beginning, Devin shared his knowledge and experience of the process. He genuinely cared about my project, walked me through the process and set the expectations for all milestones - Most importantly, he delivered on each one of them on a timely manner. Additionally, due to COVID and staffing issues at the City level, we faced various challenges and encountered quite a few obstacles to get permits processed (City was short-staffed). He was there for every single step and challenge - representing me, his client, in a way that was above and beyond what I expected. He stayed on top of it as much as I did until we received approval. Devin has played an integral role in taking my project from an idea to actually seeing it become a reality.
