I had an excellent experience with Country Kennels. I have a 16 year old beagle with a collapsing trachea and some other health problems. I wanted to make sure he was given the best care along with giving several medications every day. I was lucky to get the last open kennel right before Thanksgiving. Chris was familiar with my pup's problems and the kennel is privately owned. After meeting Chris I knew she was a "dog person" and I felt comfortable leaving him.When I picked up my dog 3 days later he looked well cared for (and not stressed like some other experiences we have had). Our dog had to be carried out of the facility by the staff because he didn’t want to leave LOL, I didn’t hear any complaints from the cat either. Courteous and professional they went above and beyond.

We started bringing our two Aussies to Country Kennels about twenty years ago. We always knew the dogs (and the occasional cat) were well cared for. When there was an emergency situation during one stay, Chris and Patti did everything we could have asked for - and more. After several years, we finally got a new puppy and when we needed to board him, there was never a question - Country Kennels was our first call. This new puppy had tended to be pretty reactive, so I was concerned about leaving him. Patti's calm reassurance and responses to my 'checking in' about him were greatly appreciated.
