“Dr. Hightower is a treasure. I injured my knee in June 2021 from working out twice a day and then riding a scooter while wearing wedge shoes (stupid, I know). I went to a Stanford-trained orthopedic surgeon who recommended partial knee replacement surgery even though I am relatively young! There was a small bump on my knee, and the doctor did an MRI and still couldn't figure out what it was. She said it might be a bone fragment that got loose. I did not get surgery, and eventually the swelling went away, and the issue got better. However, it did not go away entirely, and my knee still felt unstable and a little bit weird and I also had lower right back pain. I saw Dr. Hightower in Fall 2022 and after ONE visit, he FIXED the issue as well as my lower back pain. He also got rid of the bump!!!!!! He said it was tissue, and massaged it away!!! He also diagnosed me right away, whereas the surgeon couldn't figure out the issue!! He said my knee cap was out of alignment with my tibia, resulting in the instability and grinding, and moved it back in line. I did another appointment later that week, since I was moving out of the country later that month. I regret not finding him sooner and being able to see him regularly.“
