I live in a Stockton Condominium complex, I am also a unit owner, this is a UNCOMPENSATED review! ... American Asphalt Company is very good, very professional, and very prompt! ... and removed our old & cracked driveways (completely) , and replaced them!, I was thinking ... I would HIGHLY recommend American Asphalt, then I was thinking ... Let me do just this, and level them a Great Yelp review ... I have never seen, or heard about a PERFECT Asphalt Company, until now!

We are an HOA with about 9 miles of private road that American Asphalt seal-coated and restriped in September. Jeff the estimator, Adrian the job supervisor and the whole crew did a fantastic job. could not have been better. They scheduled the work so that streets remained usable during the process and communicated the scheduling clearly. The crew was always professional and was able to work with us effectively and efficiently. And the end product looks great. I received many very positive comments from the Community both as to the process and the outcome. And this is a difficult group to please. They had to redo a couple of spots, some of which were due to my lack of clarity, and they did no immediately and without complaint. Even though we were challenged with a couple of rain delays in the middle, I don't think this potentially very disruptive exercise could have gone more smoothly. In 2020 - during the pandemic - I led the repaving project of 'Rhus Ridge Road' and 'Bassett Lane', 2 private roads located in Los Altos Hills, Santa Clara County. These roads had been paved approximately 50 years earlier and patched but were both in bad shape.We asked several companies to provide quotes and had already engaged in advanced discussions with one company, when a friend encouraged me to reach out to American Asphalt.I met Steve Barrett, who provided an alternate competitive quote and all neighbors agreed to award the contract to his company.American Asphalt completed the project on-time, under budget and with a degree of quality that even impressed the Town of Los Altos Hills officials.Steve's expertise, responsiveness, and patience in the interaction with me and the neighbors on the multiple details pertaining to the repaving project were key success factors.Today, with both roads nicely repaved, we enjoy a transformed neighborhood that we are proud of.We can highly recommend Steve and American Asphalt to others.
