Thomson is wonderful. Very responsive, reasonably priced and all around friendly and helpful. We loved working with Tim - in fact, I have referred him to at least 3 of my family members at this point!
I highly recommend Thomson AC! We had them remove the asbestos ducts that our 1960's house still had and were starting to break down, which they contract with a third party company for and that was around $1,100, which is a very fair price and then they replaced the ducts for another $3,600, which, after a lot of searching was an extremely fair price! I had one company quote me almost $20,000 for the same thing! They did a great job and when a few of my lights weren't working due to them knocking some wires loose in the attic while doing the job, the service manager sent an electrician out right away and although the electrician was not a very nice guy and gave me tons of attitude, he eventually made it right and fixed all of the lights that weren't working. I would definitely use Thomson AC again for any heating or air conditioning work. They do great work and charge fair prices, so I whole heartedly endorse them!
Just wanted to add an update here. About a year ago, I purchased a new AC unit from Thomson. Over the weekend, my AC stopped working. Called them on Monday morning, and Mike came by later in the afternoon (same day). He figured out that my primary drain line was blocked and the secondary drain line did something to the "float" thingamajig. Within an hour, he had my AC back on and running. It's one thing to have great service when you're a new customer buying something, but wanted to call out the continued great service I received from Thomson AC. I was sorta stressing that the warranty might only be for a year (right now is barely outside a year), but I learned that the labor warranty is actually for 5 YEARS and parts is for 10 or 12 (can't remember exactly, but it was a long ass time). Thank you Mike and Thomson AC!!! Love working with honest, reputable, local businesses and enjoying my cold AC!
