We got 3 bids for our kitchen remodel, and after meeting with Gilbert, we felt confident in our decision to go with him and his team. Gustavo did our estimate and quote, and Gilbert spent time going through the bid line by line to fully explain the ins and outs of our project. The entire demo/construction took 12 weeks and the team worked hard to finish on time. They did a great job prepping the house for demo, which made the dust manageable and not as horrible as everyone warned us. Every step of the way, we were happy with the quality and craftsmanship of their work, as there were no short cuts taken. When things did come up, Gilbert and Maria were quick to resolve it to ensure our satisfaction. “Express Bath and Kitchens just helped us renovate a condo. The biggest job was to redo a bathroom. We also needed new windows and doors. There was work we wanted to do ourselves but honestly, if you are smart, just give your property over to Beth and Anthony and let them do it all. In addition to remodeling the bathroom, they allowed their subs to add on work around the unit to keep costs down. I told them our budget and they stuck to it. Anthony made very experienced and sensible recommendations on what we should fix right away and what could wait. For example, he suggested attic access and it is amazing! For the cost of putting a hole in the ceiling we now have access to our dryer vent, found and corrected some electrical issues and added much needed storage. Beth jumped in to help with designer choices on paint, tile and accessories. She was lovely to work with, supportive or gently guiding depending on the choice. Anthony dealt with scheduling his workers, permitting and HOA approval. He just took over and got it all done. He stayed on schedule, communicated daily and either he or Beth visited 1-2 times a day at least. We felt so spoiled and truly got everything done that we needed to. I highly recommend using Express Bath and Kitchens if you are anywhere in the South Bay.“

“If you are removing acoustic 'popcorn' from ceilings, I recommend that you give Original Richard a chance. The crew is very experienced in the process. There are other companies that specialize in popcorn removal that bid less and told me they would do my 1100 sq. ft. job in just a day. I wanted a good job rather than a fast one. After getting the proposal from Steve at Original Richard and discussing the job I was convinced that Original Richard would do it best. They took 4 1/2 full days, usually with 4 guys, and got it right. They also changed out some ceiling lights to new LED lights. I could not be more satisfied with a one-stop contractor that got it right. I will remember them as 'Right Richard' rather than 'Original'.“

“These guys are the real deal. My brother runs a roofing company in North Carolina and unfortunately couldn’t do my flat roof in SoCal. I met with about a dozen roofers and would then ask my brother for advice. Home Renew isn’t the cheapest, but they’re licensed, and have been in business for a while. Beware the warranty of guys that are unlicensed and have no record of being in business. They disappear with your warranty!

Amir Inbal was our project manager and was incredibly helpful. He was very upfront with the pricing, speedy with answering our array of questions, and quick and open with communication any time we needed him. The guys they sent to do the roof were hustlers. They came quickly after agreeing to do the project. They had a small army and were efficient and thorough. The roof looks great. They also did mold remediation and patching in the primary bedroom and did a fantastic job. I’ve worked with contractors before. If Home Renew is a little more expensive, it’s worth having the warranty and a contractor that is fast and doesn’t flake. Ask for Amir, and good luck out there!“
