I saw Gale McIntosh for a couple months for physical therapy almost a year ago after a fractured humerus had healed. She was totally disorganized with no ongoing care plan and no follow through from one visit to the next. Not surprisingly, there was little improvement in symptoms or range of motion during that time. Then I got a huge notice from Medicare because she had not filed for the required preauthorization for treatment. Around that time, I also experienced cracked ribs from a treatment, and I never went back after notifying her of both the injury and Medicare notice. She said she had not filed the Medicare forms correctly, but had asked to correct the application. Because of my injury, I said I was not returning for care. I do not recommend Dr. McIntosh at all. This was a real waste of time!!! She was very friendly, but I did not go to physical therapy to make friends. She was very disorganized and not knowledgeable about my injury at all. I went for a few months with no result; I went to another physical therapist after her and saw immediate results. Save your time and money, and seek help elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible service. I have nothing good to say. I have had patella-femoral pain syndrome for a year, and I was recommended here by my orthopedist. Set up 3 weeks worth of appts with Gale. First time I saw her, she didn't even know there was an appointment. She also thought I was someone else. We do 3 weeks worth of physical therapy - absolutely no improvement. What she recommended me to do actually was hurting my knee more. She was extremely disorganized every time I saw her (very erratic, couldn't remember what my issue was or what we had done previously, overcomplicated simple stretches and strengthening exercises therefore causing more harm than good). I even missed an appointment and e-mailed her about it, and she never even called to check in about the appointment or anything. My final appt was the one I missed. After missing it, no word from her. No check in, no e-mail or calls to follow up about continued appointments, not even a simple message about how my knee was doing. She knew that my knee was still in pain, and she didn't bother to reach out at all after that last appointment. Seems to me like she doesn't care at all about her patient improving, or maybe she's simply too disorganized. All she did was send me bills. Now I have bills to pay, and my knee is no better. To top it off, she didn't seem holistic at all. She didn't look or seem like someone who lives an active lifestyle, her office was covered with anti-marijuana propaganda, PT consisted of only stretching and strengthening (no mention of nutrition or yoga or anything like that), it was stuffy and hot inside, there were dairy supplements, and her demeanor was very frantic and disorganized - not what I'd expect from a place called holistic physical therapy. Overall, terrible experience and a waste of money. I highly recommend you don't do this, probably better off going to yoga classes or something like that.
