Carolyn is such a seasoned pro, having sold real estate in Marin since the 1990's. When she found my house for me in 2015 it was so clear how her years of experience was such a huge benefit to me. First, she has been through multiple cycles of sellers' and buyers' markets, when interest rates are high or when they are low, and how these factors affect the market. Second, she is an active agent who is constantly viewing new listings and keeps up with what the homes actually sell for. This is crucial is being able to advise on setting a list price or what to offer on a purchase. Finally, her warm, upbeat personality makes her very likable and she has built good relationships with so many agents. When I bought my house, my offer was one of three. The listing agent had had a previous transaction with Carolyn and based on that positive experience, she advised her client to accept my offer even though another offer was higher by $1000. Over the years, Carolyn has kept in touch and at least once a year we get together to chat about real estate, kids, life, etc. She's the best and I plan to work with her again if I ever decide to sell the perfect home she found for me!
