Sprinkler work:Owner, John, installed a six station sprinkler control system two months ago, 2/4/22. It was a nine station system but he did not bring one with him so he installed the six station. John told me today that I had told him initially that it was a six station, which I did not. I had no idea what the box was called.I was not aware that he installed the wrong box the first time. John said it would cost me another $170 in addition to the $665 we payed for first visit. So I settled on keeping the wrong station.Just ran system on 4/8/22 since installation and it was not working. I called John out to inspect and he said the GFI was tripped. Sprinkler work: Owner, John, installed a six station sprinkler control system two months ago. Partial install because he said he could not unscrew it the whole box. It was an eight station system but he did not bring one with him so he installed the six station. John told me that I had told him initially that it was a six station, which I did not. I had no idea what the box was called. Just ran system since installation and it was not working, doing the same thing prior to John's repair. I called John out to inspect and he said the GFI was tripped. He charged $100 for that. He tested the system and realized that one of the stations was not working so he adjusted it. This was work he had done on first visit but obviously done incorrectly. The problem was with the electrical the whole time but he never discovered that. We ran system the next day and the GFI was tripped again. So we payed $765.00 for nothing but headaches. But John won't return my calls. I do not recommend Barbsy Irrigation, too expensive and does not do quality work.
