In 2020, I decided to loc into love with myself and embark upon the transformative journey of self-love and self-acceptance. I wanted to find a loctician that could support me on the journey of cultivating my hair, supporting its growth, and allowing it to flourish with time. Words cannot express how much I appreciate Mankin and how he has made my love journey so fun and beautiful. He is such a gifted guy and the care he puts into doing my hair is felt. I’ve only let 2 people outside of my family do my hair and he is one of them. I won’t let anyone else do my locs because I know they won’t do it as good as he does it. Mankin was Fantastic The perfect amount of pleasantries, mixed with me being able to do my own thing ! The retwist itself was the absolute quickest I've ever had. The washing and conditioning I appreciated. His work is GREAT! The shop itself is bustling with people but everyone is with their stylist minding their own business.
