“My go to contractor. Meticulous, skilled, clean, conscious, trustworthy builder and a pleasure to work with. I can’t thank Terry enough for my new art studio. From start to finish, the job was streamlined, no corners cut. the job looks professional and came out beyond wonderful! From the demo, to the new drain, plumbing, electrical, working with and around old whacky construction, to the detailed finish work, Terry can do it all! Not to mention he was open to and able work with my “artistic” design ideas while being realistic about what would actually work. Thank you Terry!Services: Remodelling“
“Had an emergency on my trailer and needed it fixed they were able to make it better the same day and the price was fair thanks Brian and team.“
“Amazing service and we would absolutely recommend Abatex for anyone looking for asbestos abatement or expert advice. We worked with Don and he was extremely communicative during the entire process. He was very clear with the state of the home along with what work was being done and the outcome of that work. Since the home was already empty he presented additional areas for cleaning such as duct removal and furnace closet cleanup which eliminates a future headache of trying to remove those once we've moved in.“
“I really enjoyed working with Todd Gamble of Gamble Construction. His work and communication was excellent!“
“Brett Parkinson, the owner of Wick Boiler Service has earned my trust and appreciation. Our space heater malfunctioned. I did the troubleshooting and learned that it required a new circuit board. I called the manufacturer, but they would only sell to a licensed contractor. So I called Wick and had a callback from Brett later that day. The first thing I noticed is that Brett is a GREAT communicator - reliable, prompt, clear and concise, knowledgeable, and courteous. He also clearly had my best interest at heart offering several options to resolve our problem from giving me directions so that I could install the new board, offering to install it himself, coming by to inspect and improve his advice, and even replacing the old unit. He ended up visiting on a Saturday, and after spending an hour listening to his wisdom, I decided to buy a new boiler and have him install it. He checked his schedule and told me that he could install the new unit on the following Thursday or Friday, depending on his Crew Lead's schedule which he would check two days later. He texted that the job would be done on Thursday and assigned me two tasks: to find two metric-to-standard adapters and to have the new heater available since it was ready for me to collect at the distributor. By the time the job was complete, we had exchanged over 30 texts, such as my reporting that the adapters were simply unavailable, and his presenting alternative options. At the scheduled time, I met Edgar Guttierez, one of the Leads at Wick. Edgar clearly knew his stuff. We discussed several options and he also communicated clearly. When he had to leave to collect an unexpected part that was not on his truck, he contacted me to keep me informed. Brett showed up during the morning to check on the progress and answer a few questions but then left to supervise several other jobs. soon after lunch, Brett returned and worked alongside Edgar to complete the electrical integration. I noticed an odd addition to the gas line connection below the heater and asked about it. Brett explained that the sediment trap was required by code. It was the first such device in our house. Brett's attitude was straightforward: do the job according to the code and do it right the first time. By 3 PM, the new boiler was up and running and while Edgar cleaned up, Brett reviewed the two tasks that I had agreed to perform and some technical details with me. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with Edgar and was genuinely pleased to see him the following day when he delivered two small items unrelated to the job. Edgar also earned my trust and appreciation. Our house was at a comfortable temperature that night. Then, early on Friday morning, Brett called to inquire if everything was as expected. My dentist and a few doctors call to check on me after even simple procedures, but this was the first time a tradesperson has ever extended that level of professionalism to me. I will, in the future, refer to him as Dr. Parkinson, a title he clearly deserves.“
“We contemplated remodeling our master bathroom for a few years. Finally we pulled the trigger and decided to work with Hahka Kitchens. We are so glad that we did! Randy, Linda and Emma helped with the design and made us feel so comfortable with our choices. Their construction crews (demo, plumbing, electrician, tile setters and painters) did an amazing job and were so personable. Once the demo was done and the rebuilding began, each contractor came in and added "another layer of wow" to our gutted bathroom! We are so happy with our new bathroom and would highly recommend Hahka Kitchens for your next remodel job.“
“Extremely ethical, honest company that delivers what they say they will do. I respect the owner of the company and his team.“
