About Dr. Randy Brown

Dr. Randy Brown's optometry office has a knowledgeable and caring doctor who goes the extra mile to identify problems with patients' eyes. However, some patients have reported negative experiences with the office staff, citing rude tone, lack of customer service, and unprofessional behavior. Despite this, some patients have had positive interactions with the staff, finding them accommodating and friendly. The office has a late policy that may result in appointment cancellations if not adhered to, and communication issues have led to misunderstandings and frustration. Overall, patients' experiences with Dr. Randy Brown's office have been mixed, with some praising the doctor's expertise and others criticizing the office staff's behavior.

I made a Facebook just to share my horrible experience. First and last time due to staff. Complete disbelief. I contacted this Optometry office to schedule an appointment since I have heard wonderful reviews from family, however Sasha at the front desk that answered my two phone calls on 06/14/2024, around 12:03 P.M.-12:11 P.M. lacks customer service, the tone in their voice was extremely rude I could not believe my initial interaction. When I asked for manager Sasha stated, "there isn't one". Someone else should be answering the phones who has customer service and can better interact verbal with patients. In disbelief from my phone interaction with Sasha when I informed them on my booking experience. I hoped to have a way better experience on/during my appointment however I did not. On Saturday 7/13/2024 I contacted Dr. Randolph (Randy) Brown at 7:49 A.M. leaving a voicemail to communicate I was about 10 minutes or so behind. (This office is 11 miles away from me.) As I was approaching, I was confused on which building Dr. Randolph (Randy) Brown office was being that this was my first time, so I contacted again and spoke to a young lady did not provide her name assisted me to direct me at the right location. When I walked the front desk was mellow and dry I didn't not feel greeted or welcomed. Upon checking in Illze and Alena where at the front desk. They informed me my appointment was canceled due to me being late. I was extremely confused being that I just got off the phone with a front desk rep, and I had also called to communicate I was going to be late. I asked if my voicemail was received. The front desk response were "Yes, but you said 10 minutes which is within our late policy." My response was "Why did anyone not contact me back when receiving my voicemail to inform me of the late policy, and why was I initially not provided or told anything about their late policy, or new patient intake, or first day information. I also detailed my initial response with Sasha upon booking. Front desk did not care, Illze was non-chalant, Alena tried her best, but the office manager Raquel that included herself into the verbal communication between Illze and Alena was extremely disrespectful. The way Raquel acted and treated me especially as management does not surprise me once on my interaction with Sasha. What did surprise me was Sasha stated on the phone call there wasn't an office manager. Raquel stated how it was rude of me to be late consistently. Raquel then stated it was inconsiderate of the doctor's time and continue to go on while her tone was extremely rude. This is my first time at Dr. Randolph (Randy) Brown office also, Raquel does not know me personal to speak on my time management. Raquel continuing to go on and on disrupting the office, being loud, talking with her hand movements, and getting out her chair as if she was going to jump over the counter and do something to me. While this is going on I could have been seen by the doctor. They were quick to cancel me but not rescheduled me. While on the phone with my mother explaining to her what's wrong, why I can't be seen and how crazy this Raquel person is speaking and treating me Raquel interrupts and tries to overtalk my personal phone conversation with my mother, saying your conversation phone call is amongst us. At this point I no longer wanted to speak to Raquel at all. I asked who is higher than her, can I speak to a manager. Response I received back was the doctor was higher than her, and she was the manager. I had let her know I would like to speak to him instead. I then asked can I have the doctors lic number and info to provide to Business Bureaus she refused. (This information can be provided to public) Upon asking my questions Raquel the office manager loses her temper it even more. I took my phone out to record her, Raquel the office manager employee lies and says that is illegal. (Raquel then tells me she going to call the Sheriffs Office. Raquel picks up the phone to contact the Sheriffs of
