Hard to believe I haven't posted a review for Dr. Tsai yet, given I have been seeing him regularly since February for intercostal neuralgia (rib nerve pain), costochondritis, and gastrointestinal issues. My symptoms have caused a lot of pain, so I've been going twice a week. And this is the second time I'm doing acupuncture with Dr. Tsai, because I originally saw him many years ago when I first lived in LA (and then moved back to Chicago for a few years, and then back again to LA). When I started having this pain again (interfering with walking, sitting, work, etc.), I immediately remembered Dr. Tsai and how successful he was in helping me with my (previous) lower back issues. I so appreciate everything he does to try to help: he listens to take an accurate diagnosis, checks in at every appointment, makes adjustments as needed. The office has three rooms so he can treat several patients at a time, but I have never had an issue getting an appointment (even last minute, and I know for a fact he works late night sometimes if his patients need him). The fee he charges ($70) is reasonable for acupuncture services. There have been times he's even let me keep "napping" in the room (if no other patients/appointment conflicts) for an extra 20-30 minutes if I'm having a rough day. He also prescribes herbs if appropriate (I have had some success with these, but I'm doing other supplements too). My diagnosis are not quick fixes, but Dr. Tsai's treatment, along with other modalities, is slowly helping. Dr. Tsai is a very nice person, an excellent acupuncturist, and I appreciate his help. Parking in back of building (1 visitor spot assigned to his office suite, 2 visitor spots, otherwise street parking - I don't usually have issues finding a spot). Convenient location right off Brand Ave.

I got diagnosed with Bell's Palsy recently. I decided to hit it with everything I've got. Besides the pharmaceuticals that were prescribed to me, I went to my first ever session of acupuncture. As Dr. Tsai twisted a needle in my right leg, I felt a sensation in my left cheek (the paralyzed side of my face). I have now gone to two sessions with him and feel that it is helping. I plan on continuing to go.

Dr Tsai is AMAZING! He proves over and over how much far-advanced Eastern medicine is over Western medicine. I went to see a regular doctor for pain relief on my shoulder and all he did was try to prescribe to me highly-addictive opiates to band-aid the pain which I declined because I don't want to become a drug-addict. Dr Tsai fixed my shoulder pain in one appointment.
