“Let me start by saying that Dr. Mike Dellacorte is one of the finest doctors I have ever met. He has complete mastery of his craft and is compassionate and humble to boot. I had been suffering from mild sciatic nerve pain and piriformis syndrome on and off since Spring 2023. The pain grew more intense over Christmas and by February 2024, I was incapacitated. My GP prescribed pain meds, muscle relaxants, and PT and referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. While laid up at home, I did some research and discovered that my pain might be coming from adhesions (scar tissue) that have attached themselves to the sciatic nerve. I learned that Active Release Technique (ART) could free nerves without surgery. I scheduled a session with Dr. Mike, an ART specialist. Miraculously, I felt immediate relief after that first session and was able to attend an event in DTLA that night! I continue to see improvement after each visit.
