John redid our roof I wanna say about 6 or so years ago. He was recommended to me by my dad, who's tough to please. He did a great job, his pricing was more than fair, and he was quick. The reason I'm leaving the review now though is about our funky, poorly built, unpermitted back room. When he did the rest of the house I asked him to help us insulate that room better, so he put down some kind of foam paneling, covered it with tar paper material, and installed metal flashing all around. After a few summers that tar paper has started to pull back from the flashing, and it's letting water accumulate and leak into the room. I called John intending to pay him to fix it. He wouldn't hear of it and insisted on fixing it for free. He came out so fast as soon as the weather cleared. Then I told him I think we have a rodent problem up there. I'd like to pay him to remove the roof, let me clean out all the mess, and then have him put a proper roof back on. Again he went out of his way to help me find cheaper ways of resolving the problem than having him redo the roof completely (solutions he would in no way benefit from). The man has integrity, and I trust him to help me find the best solutions for whatever my house needs, even if it isn't in his financial interest to do so. You should too!

As all the five star ratings state, John is a good and experienced roofer. Nice personality and knows his stuff. Reliable and responsive. We had a two story house and detached garage done in about a week give or take. Not much rain since December so we may have to wait until next year to see that our few leaks are no longer a problem. Definitely call John for an estimate; you won't be disappointed.

I had a great experience with Pinecrest Roofing. The estimate was more than fair and the work was excellent. John even identified a problem with the drainage on parts of my roof and came up with a solution. The job didn't take long to complete. John went to the city and got the permit, saving me the hassle of having to do that. All in all it was just a great experience. I would highly recommend Pinecrest Roofing and I've already recommended them to friends and family.
