Elvira is amazing. A coworker of mine got her brows done here and showed me. I'd been looking for someone for a while, but just didn't want to choose someone online based on reviews, since you don't know who to trust with sometime permanent on your face... Elvira made me feel very comfortable. She explained the process beginning to end. She is VERY big on cleanliness and showed each single use item coming out of its wrapper. Before we started, she did lots of measuring and we talked about the start, arch, and end placement, with her explaining what went where and why. She is a kind and compassionate woman who makes you immediately feel like you're in good hands. She is not only a licensed professional, but also trains others in how to accomplish the art of tattooing. She does not use a machine and does her work instead with tools and by hand, making it quite an art form. She does use numbing cream and makes sure you are comfortable with the level of pressure being applied to the application site. Since I live 45 minutes away, we were able to do the consultation and first round of tattooing in just under 2 hours. (She does this by appointment only.) I go back in three weeks for a retouch and to make sure that I'm satisfied with the fullness and color. $400 for my brows, but they look awesome and now I don't need to worry about my brows getting rubbed off, smudged, or dripping off my face in the hot weather!

I've taken many classes to learn cosmetic tattooing and spent 10's of thousands of dollar, but the instruction I received from Elvira Nelson was far and away the best and most valuable. I wish I had known about her before I wasted my time and money on the others. In addition, she is such a wonderful person, generous with her time, and she is always there to support her students afterwards.
