Chrissy is the BEST. She always makes sure I get exactly the color I want, and she's absolutely changed my LIFE with the extensions she did for me. Not only is she an incredible color artist, she is also a beautiful person on the inside. She's helped me through many life crisis', even while I'm sitting in her chair! She always makes me feel so beautiful. I'd recommend her to anyone.

If you're looking for a down-to-earth colorist/stylist, who really knows her stuff, a lovely, clean environment, and reasonable prices, I think you'll be very happy with Chrissy. She's the whole package! I'm looking forward to my next appointment. If you want to know more details - read on, but in case you don't want to read the entire review, I put my conclusion first! :) I am new to the area and finding the right hair care pro can be a challenge. So many things have to fall into place because it's such a personal experience and most of us need the service on a regular basis. I'm sure you've been to salons where you just didn't get the right vibe; maybe the stylists were uppity, aloof, unhappy, disinterested, impatient, or lacked knowledge and skill. Imagine having to go through that every 4-6 weeks! When I found Chrissy's I noticed the difference right away. Her personality is very genuine, she's warm yet professional, knowledgable but not bossy. She'll teach you things, give you advice, but she'll listen to you too. I feel as if she is really invested in me being happy with my hair! Her salon is adorable and a comfy place to spend part of the day. It's quiet and she follows covid protocols, she has a little complimentary beverage bar where you can serve yourself tea/coffee/water as you wish. The place is peaceful and calming, cute and whimsical, a reflection of Chrissy herself. You'll love the dragonflies and the faux finish ceiling. On my first visit, I worried how I would explain what I didn't like about my hair because I had just had it done 8 weeks earlier by another stylist who didn't do a terrible job - but not a great job either. I soon realized my worries were for nothing - Chrissy diagnosed the issues and went on to explain the steps she would take to "adjust it" that very day! Making it all sound easy, she took me from a drab dishwater blonde, with an unsightly 2 inch stripe near the roots, to a lovely "all-over blonde" with subtle highlights, carefully placed. Now I can put my hair up, pull it back, wear it down, whatever, and it looks great. My natural hair is dark brown, so I'll be seeing Chrissy regularly for touch-ups. She understands my hair color journey and what I'm looking for in color and cut. (I took pictures to show her my goals/options.) She explained her prices up front, so there's no stress and the follow-up visits will be quite reasonable. I've been getting my hair done for over 20 years and I've lived on both east and west coasts. Moving a lot -- it can take years to find the right stylist/colorist -- when I find one, I stick with them! In my whole life I've found only about 3 hair care pros who are the caliber of Chrissy. One last thing, while I waited for my appointment I had the chance to see 2 other clients getting haircuts. I watched Chrissy's adept skills as she worked on these heads and the finished products were amazing. Their hair fell into place so beautifully and had great movement - both women walked out photo shoot ready. So, if you decide to go to Chrissy - have fun, relax, and enjoy the results!
