Riddle was great. They responded quickly, Alice called ahead of every appointment to tell me when they were coming, the window for the appointed was only two hours, and they came on time. Once the part was ordered and received, Dave fixed it in 30 minutes. However....We have a Lowes Appliance warranty. When the icemaker quit working on our three year old Whirlpool refrigerator, I called Lowes. They initially assigned another service company to do the repair. The service company they contract with never called and did not show up for the appointment, I waited all day. When I checked for reviews about Lowes service contractor, I found the reviews were terrible. I called Lowes to complain and they said they would reschedule the same contractor. I said "no thank you" and requested a different service company. Then Lowes suggested Riddle and admitted that it had a much better service record. Then why didn't Lowes recommend Riddle in the first place? All in all, It took 6 weeks to get it repaired. In the meantime Lowes never called or followed up to see how it was going. The delay was NOT Riddle's fault. The service from Riddle was excellent and I will call them in the future for any of my appliance repairs.
I have a Lowes warranty--and Alice was kind enough to work with me to get me on the very busy schedule despite the fact she had no work order from Lowes--as that/they have been a nightmare! Alice and Riddle Appliance were very nice and accommodating. Even when I was able to call Lowes and get a person (I HATE automated systems), they were able to connect me directly to Electrolux and I am getting service quicker than Riddle could accommodate. I will use this company in the future as when I had to cancel...they were most professional and understanding. My only reason for canceling was the timing to get my new tenants in and the repair on the dishwasher done.
My appliance purchased from a local dealer needed warranty service. That dealer referred me to a repair agency that doesn't return phone calls. I had used Riddle in the past and when I found out they were an authorized provider for Speed Queen, one call was all that was needed to get a timely service visit from a qualified technician. Cut to the chase and call Riddle when you need service.
