“Citywide Tree Service gave me a bunch of mulch via my ChipDrop request. I was nervous about it due to the other review, but my experience was wonderful. They texted me beforehand to confirm the drop and the location. They came on time the next day and dropped the load as expected. They also helped me to adjust the pile since my drop site was a bit small.

The mulch itself was very nice. Lots of reasonably sized wood chips and fragrant with all the pine needles.“

“From now on going nowhere and using AMDM Tree service to cut or trim all our trees. We texted him on the day after Thankgiving and he was nice enough to text us back with an honest fair quote... “I was really pleased that Tony could see what needed to be done. His crew trimmed my many large trees all around the house, shaping them well. They then followed up with several landscaping plans that I had been considering and putting off. The crew was professional and worked hard through their several days here, even working through light sprinkles one day. The price was fair, and I felt Tony had my best interests at heart. I was especially pleased that Tony wanted to reuse and repurpose items I already had on hand--specifically all the stones and old pavers, saving me money and time, as well as being ecologically sound. My end goal is to make my yard less labor intensive, and one thing he suggested is to have a twice-yearly cleanup and trim from his crew so things don't get out of control again. “What I see in these reviews is a love them or hate them thing. Tree trimming is very difficult work and yes you can look for faults in an operation trying to accommodate thousands of trees in trimming, removal, and stump grinding. Arborists also do not grow on trees and cannot be readily available to make observations on every trees situation so one has to compassion for men whom have scaled and trimmed in high heat and arduous conditions for sometimes not doing a complete clean up. Often, the missed branches when trimmed are green and blend in and cannot be seen until after a few days of desiccation to reveal them. Anyway, now to my point, Great Scott is an honest and trustworthy company supported by good people trying to perform a great service. Take it from a manager of 40K trees.“

I requested a quote for work on some fruit trees that I know nothing about - they could have easily quoted me a bunch of pruning or shaping, but instead Eric gave me a very thorough explanation of the possible problems and what I could do about them.

When I asked if he could still give me a quote for future use, he recommended that I make the changes he suggested and then he could come back to see if their work was needed - again he didn't offer me anything I didn't need and continued to explain details of how these trees grow and what I can change to improve their health.“
