I've been working with Sam at Iron bird Fitness for 8 months after I hit a plateau on my weight loss. We focus on body weight exercise, bio mechanics and resistance training. In that time my vitals have improved to the point that my primary physician has complimented me and inquired about my success. Just started doing group workouts here and it's been SO GOOD! The workouts are intense so my body feels it, but also, the trainers are good about letting you go at your own pace and encourage you to listen to your body (while also pushing it a bit. Iron Bird has a culture that is unique and positive. I really love it here! I was ready to start investing in myself for a healthier lifestyle and the environment (safe space, no judgment), the people, the community of the gym really made me feel welcomed and encouraged. I like the different fitness classes that are provided (kick boxing, strength training, cardio, yoga, breath work) along with occasional community hikes. The owner is incredibly kind and encouraging as well as all of the trainers. There is one-on-one membership but I chose the group membership because I like working out with other people.
