I love the online classes. They are live and interactive. I still have the sense of community as I get to see my class mates and catch up. It is great that I still get verbal corrections when I am doing the poses correctly. This helps me to stay safe and it saves me traveling time and cost of gas and I lessen the wear and tear on my car.
My husband and I were looking to start yoga to work on back pain and realized we lived really close to this yoga place. I checked out Groupon just in case and low and behold there was one for this and at a great price. When we decided to redeem them, the online website did not have a place to redeem them and the directions on the Groupon also did not work. I called and left a message and heard from someone within 24 hours. It took almost a week to finally get everything set up and the person corresponding with us kept asking the same questions every time we would inquire about our Groupons but finally we were able to sign up for classes. Because of the back and forth correspondence we were a little apprehensive about our first class, but hoped for the best. We tried an evening class and the person who was helping people check-in seemed a little rude when asking if we had signed up or had an account. She practically barked the facility rules, but as it was our first time, we always like to give some one a one off (which is why I did not Include our experience with her as a part of my ranking). Overall, the place was really clean and so were the yoga materials. We really liked our class and the instructor. Also, recently when we had to cancel last minute, we were able to get a one time late cancel waiver. We will definitely be coming back and have already recommended to some friends.
My favorite yoga teacher is all the way in Alameda so I had to find a local place. I pay drop in for gentle vinyasa with May or Eileen and the attention to detail & quality of teaching from both are fabulous. Practice here is like an antidote to the soreness I have from CrossFit. Space is comfy and lovely, street parking can be a pain during busy times. I wish they had more non heated classes. Nice variety of classes, truly appreciate community classes being offered regularly.
