despite having been introduced to chinese medicine some years ago, and to wonderful effect, i had not remained as committed to the practices as i should have, and found my way to Victor under fairly unprecedented physical distress. having moved since my last treatment, and having discovered in my distress that my trusted practitioner had as well, proximity and urgency were suddenly some of the most compelling factors in my desperation to find care. finding Victor, whose credentials first brought me hope, even in my compromised state, practicing blocks from my home and eager to make time for me as quickly as possible, was a stroke of luck i've only become more appreciative of over time. Victor was able to diagnose my nerve issue immediately, was kind and reassuring about what i was experiencing, and was, most importantly at the time, comforting in his certainty that i was treatable. the effects of his healing treatment were immediate, and more enduring each time i saw him, and within several treatments i was confidently on my way to feeling like my best self (compared to the feedback i had gotten from western medical sources, my recuperation time was nearly 1/3 of their typical projections, and came with all of the related benefits of having been treated holistically and in a soothing environment). i am confident that you can not go wrong seeking out Victor's care, regardless of your needs, and writing this review is a good reminder that i'm once again long overdue myself.

Victor Chang is a true healer. He's only the 2nd person I've met during my 68 years who I think of in this way. On top of being a true healer, he's as affable and generous with his time and knowledge as the day is long. I'm skeptical of all medical practices (western, eastern, natural, etc.) and all medical practitioners. I only decided to try acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine after both western medicine and homeopathy failed to help me with a nasty case of hives. Between acupuncture and herbal recommendations, I'm doing measurably better (way less need for antihistamines) than I was doing before seeing Victor. Victor runs a tight ship as well: I've never had to wait when I show up for appointments, and he's been very responsive to phone and electronic communication. The man is a treasure

I visited Dr. Chang to see if acupuncture could relieve my persistent migraines. He was very gentle and attentive, and explained what he was doing to help relieve my migraines and head pressure. I had 2 sessions with him and my migraines are gone now. I highly recommend Dr. Chang!
