    I have been an athlete and a trainer. I've always been active and know the importance of staying healthy but as with many people, life took over and I let myself become more and more sedentary as I focused on other projects. I really needed a jump start and found that at Own It Fitness. Miguel, Taylor and the entire team could not have been kinder when I approached them about starting, and there was absolutely no judgement.     Familiarity is priceless! I started training with Fabiola about 3 years ago at a large corporate gym (and once with Miguel) and was sad to see her move on to Own It. Although, it looked like a great opportunity for her. I stopped training there, partly for intensive PT, but kept in touch with her. She has always been highly attentive to the goals and needs of this slightly aging ultra runner with various health challenges, with a really fun personable nature - I'm more of a quiet type, but we are always chatting throughout sessions about all sorts of topics.     I began working out with Own It Fitness and Miguel over the pandemic. I needed to lose that shut down / work from home weight. We began virtual training sessions and moved to in studio trainings a few months later. Own It Fitness truly helps support your goals. I am in a high stress job with occasional travel. Miguel and staff set up virtual sessions when I am remote and they are very supportive with my ever changing schedule. I've been motivated to put my workouts first and enjoy the sessions and most of all my changing body. Excellent equipment. Honest and supportive staff. A busy professionals gym for real.
