I have been a licensed contractor since 2016 and have not met a more qualified team of roofers than Clinton and Solomon. They do things right the first time and stay true to their word.

Oats Roofing did an impeccable job from start to finish on our roof. They were the quickest roofing company to give us a quote and they were the most down to earth and accommodating. The clean up crew also left the site cleaner than before they started the job! Before we hired Oats Roofing, we chose 3 companies with the highest number of positive Yelp ratings. One of those companies took around 4 weeks to gets us a quote and the other 2 companies took 1 - 2 weeks. The one company that gave us a quote in the most timely manner was unbelievably high in their quote. I was surprised, because that was the one company of the three that had the most positive reviews. It was something like 5k-8k higher than the others ( It sure does pay to get more than one quote!). At the time, roofing companies were very stretched due to the after effects of a recent heavy rain storm, so to be fair, roofing companies in the area were really busy. We didn't feel overly excited about any of the 3 companies, so we decided to get one more quote from a different company before deciding. I saw Oates Roofing on Yelp and I called them up. Tom was personable, respectful and not pushy. He had Clinton come out to the house within a couple of days and we got a quote the same day he came out. The experience with Oats Roofing from the start was night and day from the other companies. It was an easy decision to choose them and our roof looks awesome. Tom and Clinton are down to earth, professional and gracious. It is the kind of company we felt good about supporting. We had a lot of questions, and they were always accommodating. We are grateful to them as it was a stressful time for us, since our roof suffered a lot of damage from the recent storms. We were so thrilled with the experience that we made sure to write a review on Yelp, but I don't see it here anymore. Regardless, it is worth writing about our experience again.

My Mother in Law had a severe leak in her family room on a Sunday morning. We called a plumber and he said he couldn't do anything and that we should call a roofer. We thought that it may have been due to recent gutter cleaning. I called Clinton at Oates Roofing and he came right over--crawled into the attic and found that a broken pipe was causing the problem. Clinton called a contractor that came right over and he in turn called a water damage company that came. This all happened on a Sunday afternoon. The water damage is so severe that the ceiling collapsed from the water. Without Clinton we would have been in serious trouble not knowing what to do. One thing for sure is that we didn't need a roofer yet, but when we do it will definitely be Oates Roofing.
