She does my roots, highlights and cuts. The way she cuts my hair and explains how or why she is cutting it a certain way really helps. “I recently became an Irvington resident and needed to quickly find a nail salon because my nails were in bad shape. I found this place, and although there were few people there at first glance, it was quaint and much nicer than being in a crowded larger salon. I chose an earthy green dip manicure and a gel pedicure, and while it's usually hard to match dip and gel colors, they looked similar enough. I opted for a basic pedicure, but it felt very luxurious. They even asked if I wanted another layer of color, which I thought was very sweet. The prices were standard for the Southern East Bay Area. I think I've found my new nail spot.“

“I moved to Fremont a couple years back, and as a 20-something year old living by herself I had wanted to go to an actual professional salon for once after mostly having my dad cut my hair and going to the salon across the street from my grandma's house in Vietnam. I have gotten a balayage+cut and two haircuts here since then. This salon was such a great experience, everyone is so nice and my hair feels super pampered! They really do put so much care into your hair. I went to a lighter on the wallet sort of place last year and it made me appreciate this place a lot more, even though I don't live in Fremont anymore I think I will continue stopping by honestly. Plus they accept credit card now! :)“

“I have been meaning to write a review commending Nikki for the best keratin treatment I've ever received for months now. To be honest, the fact that it's been over 5 months since the treatment and only now am I thinking about scheduling my next keratin treatment is what prompted me to write this. I've had over 2 dozen keratin treatments and Brazilian blowouts over the past 15 years in 3 different countries and more than half of them in the Bay Area and can confidently say Nikki is by far the best. This keratin treatment has reduced frizziness the most, my hair feels softer and looks shinier than experienced previously with other stylists and most importantly has lasted the longest despite regular shampooing and occasional swimming. It also needs to be said that Nikki is an extremely thoughtful and wonderful human being. She ever so kindly accommodated my last-minute request for an appointment and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable (even though she was the one on her feet for hours meticulously treating every single strand of my very thick and long hair and keeping her salon open well after hours). While this is by far the best treatment I've received, the reason for my 1000/5 star review is Nikki's honest nature. She noticed I had developed some redness along my hairline (which was in large part due to me having gotten a peel right before the keratin treatment- my fault!). She immediately got concerned, questioned whether the keratin treatment had caused it, and started apologizing profusely. This level of care and accountability is something I've rarely encountered with other stylists and the reason I will only be seeing Nikki for my keratin treatment needs moving forward. Thank you Nikki!!“

She went above and beyond to take care of me and make sure I was comfortable. My hair color transition was going to be a real challenge. I had decided to go gray 6 years ago and now wanted to return back to the color I used to be. It took 5 seconds to explain to her what I needed. I could not have asked for better results. However, nothing has strengthened my nails more than Saba’s playful insistence on regularly oiling my cuticles, paired with the support of structured gel.
